The Recipe Blend

Big change starts with small steps — and a little bit of adventure. The Recipe blends community, learning, and experience to help you grow into the kind of leader who lifts others as you rise. Through service, connection, and courage, you’ll discover what it means to lead with empathy and live with purpose — one experience at a time.

2 Projects

Real change starts close to home. Each participant completes two hands-on community projects that build empathy, teamwork, and leadership. From serving locally to supporting global partners, these projects turn small actions into meaningful impact.

7 Hours of Humanitarian Learning

Before you can serve the world, you have to understand it. Through seven interactive hours of humanitarian learning, you’ll explore what sustainable service really means — listening before leading, giving with respect, and building long-term connections.

1 Life-Changing Adventure

This is where it all comes together. One unforgettable adventure — local or abroad — where you’ll step out of your comfort zone, connect with people across cultures, and discover the confidence that comes from giving your all.

Cambodia totally flipped my world upside down—in the best way. I went there thinking I was going to “help people,” but honestly, they helped me way more. I learned that happiness has zero to do with money or stuff and everything to do with people, laughter, and the little moments that make your heart feel full.

Somewhere between rice fields, tuk-tuk rides, and sweaty service days, I realized something big: being me is powerful. I don’t have to be loud or perfect to make an impact—I just have to show up with love. I’m not afraid anymore to be kind first, to give more freely, or to jump into an adventure just because it might change me.

Cambodia made me realize you don’t have to fly across the world to serve. It starts with how you see people and how you care every day, right where you are. The trip opened my eyes to how much kindness matters — that real change starts when you choose to notice, listen, and love right where life has you.
